Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

  • Account data — when you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. We never see or store your Google password.
  • Practice data — the questions you attempt, your answers, accuracy, streaks, and mastery progress. This is the core of the product (your dashboard, rankings, and weak-area detection are built from it).
  • Payment data — payments are processed entirely by Razorpay. We receive only a payment reference and status; we never receive or store card, UPI, or bank details.
  • Public profile — your leaderboard username (chosen by you or auto-generated from your name) is visible to other users on rankings. Your email address is never shown publicly.

2. How we use it

To provide the service: track your progress, compute rankings, detect weak areas, maintain streaks, and grant paid access. We may email you about your account or purchases. We do not sell your data, show third-party ads, or share your data with anyone except the processors below.

3. Who processes your data

  • Supabase — database hosting (account and practice data).
  • Google — sign-in (OAuth) only.
  • Razorpay — payment processing.
  • Upstash — rate-limiting counters (no personal content).

4. Friends and rankings visibility

If you add friends, they can see the same numbers already visible on the public leaderboard (coverage, accuracy, streaks) in a private friends ranking. Friends never see which specific questions you practiced or when.

5. Cookies

We use only essential cookies: your sign-in session and your theme/font preferences. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

6. Data retention and deletion

Your data is retained while your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data yourself at any time from your profile page (Account → Delete account) — deletion is immediate. You can also request deletion by emailing exambooklet@gmail.com from your registered address.
